I’ve played Foundations and created “The First Era” history of Kol Noth. I’ve played Microscope to detail “The Rise and Fall of Ledera.” I’m currently playing “The Quiet Year” to expand on a year in the growth (and possible destruction?) of the community of Turris.
The question I pose to you, is what to play next. Here are the options:
Alone On A Map: “Alone on a Map solo tabletop role playing game about discovering landmarks and creating a map.” - I could use to map out Hesperos, defining the landscape more specifically. I also had an idea to use it to generate the land the Ledera came from, some place to the west across the ocean. If chosen, I may use an alternate game, The Lonesome Cartographer, instead just for an excuse to use my Lord of the Rings Tarot deck. It’s basically the same game but with a Tarot deck instead of playing cards.
The Deep Forest: “The Deep Forest is a map game of post-colonial weird fantasy. It’s a re-imagining of The Quiet Year, one that centers upon monstrosity and decolonization.” - This one sounds very cool. I could see using it for one of the ruined cities, Manu or Saiwa, both of which fell during The First Era. This is made by the same guy as “The Quiet Year.”
I Am The Forest: “A solo roleplaying and mapmaking game about your Forest's advancement.” I could use this to flesh out or create a cool forest, which is somewhat lacking in Kol Noth at the present.
The Ground Itself: “The Ground Itself is a one-session storytelling game for 2-5 players, played with household materials (a coin, a six-sided die, and a deck of cards). Focusing on place- one specific place, chosen by the group - The Ground Itself unfolds over radically disparate time periods that may range from 4 days to 18,000 years. By casting wildly into time, it considers how places both change and remember themselves. Fundamentally, The Ground Itself is about the echoes and traces we leave for others after we are gone.” - This game sounds cool and I’ve listened to Actual Plays of it. Solo-ing it would be interesting, not even sure what place I would choose. Maybe Ordu.
Ex Novo: “Ex Novo is a playable city-generator that helps you construct, and populate fictional villages, towns, and cities. This physical game can be played solo or with up to 3 friends. Playtime ranges from 1 to 3 hours.”

Thank you for reading.
The Deep Forest and Alone on a Map were tied, so I'm doing The Deep Forest! After that, I'll play Alone on a map/the lonesome cartographer. Thanks for reading/voting and commenting!
Just gotta say I’m enjoying this world building series immensely.
