On Break
Hey folks, I’m on break for this week. If you’re curious, interested or intrigued in my solo-gaming adventures, check out the table of contents:
It contains everything I’ve written so far on this substack. You can check out my completed campaign, “Sanguine Dust”, 19 chapters/sessions of solo-gaming using the Starforged setting.
Or take a look at my solo one-shot I did in October for Halloween, where I played “The Light, Reflected”, a spooky lighthouse-themed one-shot that reminded me of the film “Annihilation” and/or the Area X series of books. You could also look at my “Talking Solo” posts which aren’t actual-plays but more exploring the field of solo-gaming itself. I talk about why you might want to solo-play, go over a few games and resources, and do a run-down of some of the major and popular Game-Master Emulators.
If you want to read more about who I am, look here and if you want to connect on Substack chat, go here.
If you’re at all curious about my next project, it will be a play-through of the wonderful game, Thousand-Year-Old Vampire by Tim Hutchings. I’m asking for input into what time period my vampire should begin, so if you want to provide input for that, check out the poll here and vote!
If you’re sad my time with Starforged is at an end, don’t be. I have some ideas germinating for a ‘season 2’ but I’d like to show off some other forms and games for solo-gaming before returning to that system.
Thanks for reading! Next week will be a post on GME’s and the week after that, I will begin my TYOV playthrough.
