This is a paid post because it has literally nothing to do with solo-gaming. Feel free to skip entirely.
These subscriber posts will be about what’s going on my life right now, whether that’s the books I’m reading, the tv/movies I watch, or anything else I feel like writing about. Right now, I’m in the middle of trying to write 50,000 words in November for NANOWRIMO.
If you are a paid subscriber, thanks so much!
I now have TWO paid subscribers! That’s pretty awesome!
Nano is ongoing. I’m keeping about a day ahead at a time, which is good, because this coming weekend I’ll be staying at a camp for 2-3 days with no electricity, running water, or cell service. I really need to get ahead in my words before then or I’ll find myself in a hole I can’t get out of.
It’s working because I just keep grabbing time to write words. Five minutes, ten minutes. A 100 words here, a 150 there. It adds up and I just keep going.
It doesn’t have to be fancy. It doesn’t even have to make sense to anyone else but me. Stuck on a scene? Skip ahead and write something you think will happen in the future. Not sure if you want to stick with first person or past tense? Rewrite a scene with a different perspective. But don’t delete the words you already wrote. Those are there, those count and you might want to look back over them in the future. Just keep writing.
